Panacea3 - Media Director & Account Manager

July ’11 - Present

Panacea3 (P3) is a boutique Digital Reputation Management (DRM) agency, founded in 2008, that provides companies with a full service approach to the digital world. P3 provides an array of services that affect any entity’s online presence, from website development, SEO, and email marketing to media development, event marketing, research and reporting.

Accomplishments: Simplified the branding and language of Panacea3’s service offerings. I rewrote and rebranded the company’s existing services to provide clients with a laymen’s breakdown of DRM initiatives that could be mixed and matched into custom solutions. This also branded our company’s language and services internally, which was essential for quickly training new employees and contractors.

Responsibilities: As a member of a small digital agency, I wear multiple hats, from Media Director to Account/Project Manager, and internal business operations. My tasks are as follows:

  • Provide all of the company’s media development needs, including direction, cinematography, and both pre and post- production services to create engaging online video content for Panacea3’s clients
  • Provide both account and project management, aiming to create long-term relationships with our clients and maintain productivity with our team
  • Execute or delegate initiatives from project proposals, which typically includes paid advertising, search engine optimization, copywriting, content population, data analysis and reporting
  • Provide business operations functions, including accounts payable/receivable and sourcing payroll, compliance, and employee benefits
  • Played an integral part in the development of reporting methods and deliverables for Panacea3’s clients in digital reputation auditing and search sentiment analysis

Optum - Marketing Specialist

July ’10 - July ’11

OptumHealth is a corporation under UnitedHealth Group that supports health care management and financial solutions for businesses and individuals. Collaborative Care, a new division within OptumHealth, creates innovative care delivery solutions to combat the rising costs of health care. Between July 2010 and  July 2011, Collaborative Care fully implemented Connected Care—a telehealth program for rural communities in Colorado, The Well—an employee health and wellness center solution focused on preventative care, and Lifeprint—a care delivery system, complex-chronic care clinic, and physicians’ network in Phoenix, Arizona.

Accomplishments:  Implementation of the Lifeprint Community Center due to time/staffing constraints.  I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona for nearly four months to actualize the company’s vision for a community center at the Lifeprint Care Center, the flagship facility. I developed a monthly calendar of programs & activities, taught classes and/or contracted professional instructors, and promoted the facility throughout the local community, eventually attracting over 90 visitors per week.  I was given an employee-recognition award and monetary bonus for my work done at the Lifeprint Community Center.

Responsibilities: As the third member of the Collaborative Care marketing team, my responsibilities were vast and varied; however, typically focused on brand development for the division’s new products and services. My tasks were as follows:

  • Worked between advertising agencies, internal stakeholders, and the company’s legal/compliance team in creating marketing materials and campaigns that would create brand awareness and meet the company’s goals for enrollment in the Lifeprint Physician Network
  • Provided quality checks in the development of the Lifeprint Physician Network required materials (e.g. claims letters, administrative manuals, and coding handbooks) to ensure the utmost accuracy and adherence to the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations
  • Developed brand guidelines for Lifeprint and The Well to be used in everything from staff attire and building signage, to promotional and marketing materials
  • Worked with promotional product suppliers to gain an arsenal of branded products to be used in business-to-business engagements, conferences and expositions, and facility open houses
  • Played an integral part in the development of the Collaborative Care and Lifeprint web sites: writing and proofreading copy, testing functionality of secure portals across all browsers, and ensuring video content met its intentions
  • Researched and presented to the division CEO a nationwide market analysis on competition and potential acquisitions to Lifeprint

Personnel Decisions International - Editing Intern

Sept. – Dec. ’07

Personnel Decisions International (PDI) is a consulting firm that creates customized talent assessment, succession planning strategies, leaders development, and executive coaching. PDI consultants apply industrial organization psychology in order to research and create flexible human capital assessment services for their customers. This gives their client’s the ability to make educated hiring and promotional decisions that result in a positive impact on their organization.

Accomplishments: Translation inconsistencies due to time constraints. I provided the experience, expertise and process to resolve those issues. as a result the international clients received a better product in shorter period of time.

Responsibilities: These “customized solutions” are in the form of final reports. Once consultants have thoroughly assessed a client’s needs, analyzed the data they’ve gathered, and developed solutions or methods for proceeding, a report writer organizes a document that contains these summaries, analyses, and recommendations. The editors revise the report, improving readability by correcting errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax. As an editing intern, I received reports from the editors; my responsibilities were as follows:

  • Proofread customized solutions documents; for example, recording any errors, inconsistencies, and omissions
  • Provided international translation of these customized solutions documents from American English to British Standard English
  • Worked with the editors to read corrected copies, certifying that necessary changes were made.
  • Provided the final quality check of documents before they were sent to clients
